The only thing we electioneer for is food.  Good food.  Oh, and good wine and service. You bring the company and we’re set. Summer is a favourite time of ours – and yours – too, thanks to the plethora of vibrant ingredients and seasonal food, fish represented seasonally here by ling cod, marrying it with a black garlic crust, cockle orzo and a pretty lemon butter sauce

This market menu dish could be partnered with one of the starters, a pickled local mackerel with artichokes, tomatoes and saffron aioli.

There’s wild roasted halibut, grilled wild trout fillet and sautéed scallops on the a la carte as well as monkfish with snails; but vegetarians and meat eaters,  you’re well catered for with the likes of slow roasted rib of beef with spring vegetables; pork belly; slow roasted lamb neck fillet with sage and mushroom gnocchi; fresh spaghetti with asparagus sauce, wild asparagus and Parmesan and arancini with roasted pepper sauce  and so many more summery dishes we love to cook for you like the croquettes with Summery vegetables from the weekly changing set menu, a £12 three course bargain from 12 – 3 alongside the market and carte menus.

Cast your vote too for summer berry terrine with minted crème frâiche and sugared almonds or white chocolate and strawberry macaron with elderflower curd, pretty dishes to enhance your day in our welcoming restaurant.
